Where Do They Stand?

In advance of the 2008 US Presidential election, the Simon Wiesenthal Center is releasing its 2008 Presidential Questionnaire on issues that are of special interest to its constituents.   All three of the leading candidates have answered ten questions on issues ranging from international affairs to domestic issues.

Services
Kabbalat Shabbat (Friday night) services are held at 7:30 PM. Each service is followed by an Oneg Shabbat.
On the first Friday of each month, the service is designated a "Community Shabbat". This service is intended to be highly participatory and ideal for everyone, including families with young children. The 45-minute service begins at 7:30 PM and is followed by a joyous Oneg Shabbat at 8:15 PM.
Please plan to attend and see for yourself the steps that are being taken to bring innovation and renewed energy to our religious services.
Shabbat morning services begin each Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. There is a kiddush following services, with the exception of a monthly Shabbat luncheon. We also have services for most holidays - please consult the calendar of events posted on this website.

We ask that Jewish adults in the community come and help us make a minyan, especially for those who need to say Kaddish.   Your attendance will be a true gift for those who come to honor God and the memories of loved ones.

Services will be held this coming Friday evening and Saturday morning - check the calendar for details. Please attend -- for yourself, and for your community.

For security reasons, we no longer publish full names, or personal phone numbers or addresses on our website. We hope you are able to recognize the first name & last initial of persons mentioned on this site. Many are listed in the sisterhood roster, where you'll be able to find phone numbers and addresses.

If you can't figure out who's who or you do not have a roster, please contact the synagogue (920-733-1848) or webmaster@mosesmontefioresynagogue.org for assistance.

If you wish to commemorate your Bar/Bat Mitzvah with us, the Ritual Committee invites you to read your Haftorah Portion at Shabbat Services or, if you wish, to recognize the day with a Torah Aliyah. If you do this, the Ritual Committee will sponsor a Kiddush in your honor. Contact Jerry Z (religious@mosesmontefioresynagogue.org) for more information or to schedule your Haftorah.
