The Board of Trustees of Moses Montefiore Congregation consists of 15 members-at-large. These include the four officers of the congregation: Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. In addition, there is a President and Vice-President. In our congregation, overall leadership resides with the office of chairperson, while the President has leadership in a variety of ritual areas.
Until his passing, Archie Bassewitz served as President Emeritus, a position which was created to honor his life-work as our immediate past President.
