Please maintain a respectful attitude while on the synagogue grounds.

Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children.

All males are required to wear a head covering while in the sanctuary.Photography is prohibited on Shabbat and other holy days.

All persons are required to wear a head covering and a Tallit when called to the Torah. These are available in the sanctuary for everyone who may wish to use them.

Appropriate attire should be worn in the sanctuary. Blue jeans, shorts and t-shirts are generally not appropriate. Women should not dress immodestly for a service by wearing short skirts or having bare shoulders. If a person is in doubt about what is appropriate to wear, please consult the cantor or a member of the Ritual Committee in advance. Ushers may ask people wearing inappropriate clothing to wear a jacket or a shawl if necessary.

Please refrain from entering or leaving the sanctuary while the Ark is open, during the Mourner's Kaddish, the Shema, the Amida, the Haftorah, the speech of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or the Rabbi's sermon.

Please do not smoke in the building at any time or on the grounds during Shabbat and other holy days.

The synagogue telephone may not be used on Shabbat and on other holy days, except in emergencies.

Please do not chew gum or eat in the sanctuary.

Lights, fans, audio and visual equipment and heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment are not to be turned on or off during Shabbat and on other holy days.

Please turn off all cellular phone ringers or audible pagers.

All deliveries are to be made to the synagogue prior to 3:30 P.M. on a Friday, after sundown on Shabbat, or before or after other holy days, except that people may bring kosher food for an oneg at a later time.

Writing and the use of electronic games or devices are prohibited in the synagogue during Shabbat and other holy days.
