Sisterhood is the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moses Montefiore Congregation. Our purpose is to support the Religious School, maintain the Social Center, and to help in all Congregational activities.
Sisterhood warmly welcomes all new members to join our organization. We aid in charitable work in the community and wherever else help is needed to aid our fellow Jews. We also encourage attendance at all religious services and schedule regular hostesses for the Friday night Oneg Shabbats.
Meetings are scheduled four times a year and Shabbat dinners are held twice a year. Activities include, but are not limited to, an annual Break the Fast meal at the conclusion of the Yom Kippur services, a Purim carnival, and a rummage sale. Sisterhood contributes monetarily to the Religious School, the United Jewish Appeal, the Synagogue and Rabbinical funds.

The Fox Valley Wisconsin Chapter (Great Plains region) of Hadassah meets the fourth Thursday of every month for Book Club in people's homes, with adjustments made for holidays. Our annual activities include an Art Auction with Sisterhood, Donor letter and yearbook. Founded in 1912, Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is the largest women's, largest Zionist, and largest Jewish membership organization in the United States. In Israel, it supports pacesetting medical care and research, education and youth programs, and reforestation and parks projects. In the US, Hadassah promotes health education, social action and advocacy, Jewish education, volunteerism and leadership skills, Young Judaea and connections with Israel.
